The old way of network marketing is dead?

Now now now, I don't mean to be misleading. But what a freakin' JOKE! I heard this today and I thought... "you've got to be kidding me!"

Don't get me wrong... are there new ways to approach network marketing? Absolutely - I am living proof of these methods.

But let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater!

For the next few ways I want to give you some simple (dead simple) steps to network your business opportunity, product and service.


1. Send an unexpected card everyday
-------------------------------------

Are you at all suprised? C'mon! This is NUMERO UNO (Number One!) You need to be sending out Heartfelt Cards each and every day to build your business. How does it help you?

Well you can reconnect with old friends and colleagues, send out gratitude and positivity (in this negative world), introduce SOC with a DVD or Infopak and so on and so forth.

Plus it builds faith in the product and service we offer. Send at least a card a day, I send five each day (on average!)


2. Personal demo
------------------

Hello! If sending cards was NUMERO UNO ...this is NUMBERO UNO-A. (Number One-A)...meaning it goes hand in hand. We call a personal demo in SendOutCards a "gift account walkthrough" aka the GAW.

Doing GAW's each and everyday gives the ability for someone you know to send an unexpected card to someone they care about.

Something MAGIC happens when they send a card.

I've personally given out 800+ GAW's in the last two years. 200 of those people said "Yes! I want to become a user/distributor" of SOC. Not too shabby. Those 200 have turned into over 1,000 users and distributors on our team. Again...not too shabby.


3. Public seminars
-------------------

Hey, I know that Public Speaking is one of the greatest fears on earth (even greater than dying!)...but if you are the first to grab a "mic" maybe this is a stragey for you. Many Chambers and Rotery's are looking for speakers. Trade organizations always need fresh presenters to keep their members enlightened and engaged.

Make a few calls and develop a killer speech/presentation on topics like: Referral Marketing, Relationship Building, Sending Handwritten Cards, the SOC Biz Opp, etc.


4. Teleseminars/Webinars
---------------------------

See above. Except you can do it in your underwear (btw, tmi).



5. Specialize in a niche
------------------------

Pick a niche get rich? Well, kinda. Niches allow you be more focused. More specialized. You can create targeted campaign pieces for niches than will yield greater results.

Sometimes our marketing is too general to the point where NOBODY will be interested. For instance, my marketing on YouTube is specific to those looking at a business opportunity but also has interests in English Bulldogs (since I breed them)... I've created many leads for those who love dogs and Bullies, but also want to work from home!

Pick a niche, get rich? You have to take action. Just by selecting a niche doesn't mean automatic success?

When I got started in business for myself - I decided to focus on insurance agencies. Easy target for me because my husband and I OWNED an agency for a few years. Instant rapport, instant crediability.

You don't own a business? Choose a family member or friend who does.

"Hi, my name is So&So and work with ABC (your brother's) Plumbing..."

Ya jive?
